LTE wireless internet technology rumors regarding the iPhone 5 continue , as more reports suggest that the device will be released in October and that it will feature LTE technology.

According to a popular site, MacRumors, the code for implementing LTE technology is hidden in the last couple of developer builds for the iOS 5. However, it remains unclear based on the information they have obtained whether this is an indication that the iPhone 5 will have LTE, or whether it is just a preparation for the introduction of an LTE enabled iPad 3 instead. What is clear is that Apple has been playing the LTE technology as more carriers, led by Verizon, are implementing this new and faster wireless technology for their 4G networks. Some iPhone bloggers have argued that it's impossible for the iPhone 5 to have LTE due to the fact that AT&T is not yet ready to support the technology.
